Raised in Southern California, born in Lincoln, Nebraska. I've always had a creative side to me. From an early age I "borrowed" my dad's camera and squandered rolls of film capturing surfers from the shore of Newport Beach. I've always been the one behind the camera, the de-facto photographer, whether it was skateboarding, surfing, or watching live music.
After receiving my B.A. in social science from SDSU: I wanted to become a teacher. Turns out that being a substitute math teacher in middle school isn't as glamorous as I imagined. The typical 9 to 5 just wasn't in the cards for me. With this realization, I leapt into the real estate photography industry and haven't looked back.
15 years and 6,000+ homes later, I decided to do it for myself. That's where Light Leak Photography was born.
My mission is to create an enduring relationship with my clients, building on a shared foundation of trust, transparency, and creative expression. Each space I photograph gives me the chance to see the world in new and unique ways. Each client I work with gives me the opportunity to deliver my best. I love what I do and it shows.
